Clear December Morning

So today, my daughter and I left again around 6:30am.  I think tomorrow we may be able to sleep a little later as it was over an hour before the sun really started to creep over the horizon.  That being said though, we are thinking of heading west of Olathe, KS to be in an area a little flatter than the valley's we have tried the past few days.

To add insult to injury, Little Bit had to use the restroom badly so didn't really capture the sunrise any higher than right above the horizon line. Since it was about 22 degrees again, the cold only magnified her discomfort. Needless to say, a life lesson was learned.

Since we had some time to kill, we took a few shots of the moon and the only real wildlife we saw; geese.

I really like how Google Photo will animate photos that are similar.
